This simple and chic design was inspired (and requested) by my favorite Fashionknista, Lindsay. She saw something similar in a fashion magazine, listed at an outrageous price, and asked me to create something similar – using luscious luxury yarns. Well, how could I say ‘no’ to a cashmere earmuff?
Thus, Fashionknitsta was born!
Knit it the round, this “elegant earmuff” is knit from tie to tie, starting with a provisional cast on and ending with a 3-needle bind off. It can be done with one skein of your favorite luxury yarn – as a treat to yourself or another!
Directions include three yarn weight options – fingering, sport, and DK. Samples shown were knit using one skein each of Shibui Knits Baby Alpaca DK in the color “Seaweed” and Rowan Felted Tweed DK in the color “Seafarer”.
